Reflecting on a Milestone Year at UNWARE

2024 has been a transformative year for UNWARE. From our foundation in January to launching our wearable-free VR Holodeck MVP, we’ve made significant strides in revolutionizing virtual reality in industry, defense, real estate, and retail. Read on for a recap of our key achievements and what lies ahead for 2025.

As 2024 comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on the incredible journey UNWARE has had this year!

• Founded in January, we started our journey to create wearable-free Virtual Reality experiences, powered by our AI-based tracking software.

• In February, we officially launched our business and development activities, setting the stage for what was to come.

• In May, we were honored to take 2nd place in the BayStartUP Munich Business Plan competition (phase 2) and secured funding through the BayTOU program by Bayern Innovativ to advance our tracking software technology.

• June saw us win the Gründerpreis Ingolstadt and reveal our first UNWARE Holodeck showcase at the Stromaufwärts Festival.

• By September, we successfully launched our UNWARE Holodeck MVP, opening the door to applications in various uses cases in industry, defense, real estate, and retail.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re in discussions with exciting companies to kick off our first MVP projects. The future is promising, and we’re excited to continue driving innovation in Virtual Reality—without wearables and for extended collaborative use in business environments.
