Maike Voigt is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at UNWARE, where she oversees all business-related activities with a focus on driving operational excellence and strategic growth.

Maike holds a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Stralsund, Germany. Her academic background laid the groundwork for her robust expertise in product management, marketing and sales, and accounting and controlling.

Marcel Egle is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at UNWARE, leading the company's technological innovation and development of advanced software solutions.

With over five years of experience in software development, Marcel is an expert in real-time 3D, virtual and augmented reality, computer vision, and embedded systems.

Marcel began his tech career in 2019 as a freelancer, where he gained a lot of experience in game development and visualization for professional VR applications. In 2020, Marcel joined IDEENION, where he served as a software developer and later as Head of Software Development. He led development teams and managed complex projects, creating immersive experiences with cutting-edge technologies.

With the large metropolitan regions of Munich and Nuremberg in close proximity, UNWARE uses the support of institutions and organizations in Bavaria's startup region - sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.
UNWARE was able to secure funding for the development of the UNWARE tracking software through Bayern Innovativ's BayTOU program. Bayern Innovativ, a corporation of the Free State of Bavaria, supports startups and players from industry and science at all stages of the value chain with customized services to increase their innovation dynamics.
In May 2024, UNWARE took second place in BayStartUP's Munich business plan competition. BayStartUP is the Bavarian startup network for startups, investors and industry and, with its annual business plan competition, offers young startups support in setting up their company and in finding start-up and growth capital.

As of June 2026, we are self-financed and are looking for business angels to support us in our first round of financing to further develop the company.
